Braden's Gifts is a mission-based non-profit organization in Lugoff, SC. We collect gently used clothing and toys and wrap them in gifts for low-income families in need.
Our Mission:
Hand-me-downs don't have to be given away in trash bags. They don't have to have holes and stains in them. It is our mission to provide these items to those in need in such a way that it feels new and exciting.
How To Help:
Children go through clothes and toys so fast! If you're looking for somewhere to take your child's extra or outgrown clothing and toys, give us a call. We also collect maternity clothes, nursing items and newborn essentials that are still in good condition, as well as holiday decorations.
Instead of taking these items to consignment, Braden's Gifts will be happy to come pick these items up and give them to a family in need. We carefully inspect each item donated to ensure quality and condition before wrapping them as gifts. We then pair these items with a family in need, and provide them for free in the form of nicely wrapped gifts.

Donations we accept:
- All sizes of children's clothing and accessories from preemie to high school age
- All sizes of maternity clothing
- Unused nursing supplies
- Newborn essentials
- Children's toys, stuffed animals, toy boxes, room decorations, etc. in good condition
- Holiday items such as Easter baskets, Christmas trees and decorations
- Donations for gift wrap and marketing to get the word out
- Gift bags, wrapping paper, ribbons, tape, boxes, etc.
*We request all donations be in good condition.
Nominating a family in need:
- All families who are eligible to receive gifts must be nominated by someone else. Click here to nominate a family in need >
- Families that will be considered will generally include single-parent households, families with parents or children on long-term disability, and low-income households (families using EBT, Medicaid, SNAP or receiving other government-issued low-income benefits.)
- If you are nominating a family, please message us on Facebook or on our website answering the following questions:
- Who are you nominating?
- Why are you nominating them?
- How do you know them?
- What is their city and zip code?
- How many adults and children live in the home?
- Do they have any pets?
- Children or maternity clothing sizes & needs?
- What types of toys or games do the children like the most?
- What is your contact information?
*We will then contact you to discuss what items we can give them and make a plan to get the gifts to them.
